The feature discusses how marriage in Egypt is becoming a problem especially to the poor. It clarifies that marriage is an issue of stress to most Egyptians, since they are expected to get married in their twenties. However, due to the high marriage expenses in Egypt, poor men find a huge difficulty getting married; yet, their pride doesn’t allow them to accept any financial support from their ladies. This crisis is causing many poor men to be frustrated. Moreover, their inability to fulfill their desire hinders their capacity to function in their life.
The feature is very interesting as it portrays a critical issue that faces several Egyptians. In addition, having interviewed poor people and a sociology professor, the reporter was able to illustrate a holistic feature carrying both the scientific and emotional approaches that make it engaging to the audience. The duration of the feature is perfect since it was sufficient to deliver the message while maintaining the listeners’ attention throughout. Furthermore, the good sound quality, the clarity and good pace of announcer’s voice made the feature very professional and catchy.
